if you do a search for the Galveston fun map, the resort will be located on the corner of FM3005 and 9 mile road. (the map isn't up to date and it has pictures of horses for Gulf stream stables where the resort is.)

I want to know if it is possible to get to The Strand from Dallas, Texas using public transportation. I know the DART bus and rail service goes into some parts of Galveston, and maybe Galveston has its own bus system as well. Please respond.

As far as I know, there is no public transportation from Dallas to Galveston. Texas is notoriously lax when it comes to public transportation. It takes about 5 hours to get there from DAllas and Greyhound bus might take you there. (or to Houston, and catch another one from Houston to Galveston)
