I am looking for old friends or relatives or brothers/sisters of my deceased grandfather Roy Crater married to Ruby Crater.They use to live in a duplex off 57th Street for many years. I am his granddaughter, many called me "little princess" when I was young. He use to run the toll bridge for about 30 years off Pelican Island letting in the boat/tugs transports.I was raised on the island, many have been looking for me as I have been told since I came home in November 2004 for Thanksgiving (didn't know I had so many friends that thought I had gotten lost, lol, thanks 4 caring still)anyways I am doing a family tree and certain information has come to surface. I have relocated to this area. I am looking for work. However I at the present time, need to find any assistance with clothing, shoes, etc so that I am able to work. I am hoping to find work with a paint contractor, have plumbing knowledge too. Anything, for any amount of pay will be greatly welcomed. I have been incarcerated for several months and have lost everything, I am staying with family now in League City, but need to contribute to my support. I can present a $5,000.00 bond to an employer who will be interested in taking a chance on an intelligent, hard worker, who has been dealt a bad hand. Hi my name is Chris and i was wondering if anybody could tell me where i could get a brochure or something of the sort on how to get a tour of all of the historic homes in galveston? I am interested in taking a family trip and this type of activity interest me. So please if anyone could be of assistance please reply.
